Toni Jensen: Cowboyistan: The Social Costs of Fracking
Toni Jensen (Metis; English/University of Arkansas), author of the short story collection From the Hilltop, published through the Native Storiers Series at the University of Nebraska Press, will present "Coyboyistan:The Social Costs of Fracking," a fiction reading and discussion about pipelines, fracking, and violence against Indigenous women.
This talk is co-presented by the Department of English, the Creative Writing program, the Indigenous Studies Research Initiative, the Native American and Indigenous Peoples Steering Group, and the Alice Kaplan Institute for the Humanities as part of the Institute's 2016-2017 Debt Dialogue Series.
